Environmental Health

Environmental Health is a branch of Public Health concerned with the aspects of the natural and built environments that may affect human health.  In the interest of one's health, comfort and social well-being, it is the County's goal to help control those factors in the physical environment which exercise or may exercise a harmful effect on one's physical development, health and survival.

Morrison County is delegated by the Minnesota Department Health to administer the Environmental Health program.  The program licenses and inspects food, beverage and lodging establishments, pools, youth camps, recreational camps and mobile home parks.  Inspections are made for compliance with state and local requirements.
