Hazardous Household Waste (HHW)

Morrison County operates a Household Hazardous Waste Facility that is open seasonally. It is located at the Morrison County Solid Waste Management Facility. Residents of Morrison County may deliver unwanted household chemicals to the facility free of charge. Contact the Landfill Operator at 320-632-1944 for hours.

The HHW site will be closing for the season on September 30, 2021.  It is scheduled to re-open on April 15, 2022

Minnesota state law prohibits the landfilling of appliances. Many cities and townships accept appliances at Clean-Up Day events. The Morrison County Solid Waste Management Facility accepts appliances year-round for recycling.
