Environmental Health is a branch of Public Health concerned with the aspects of the natural and built environments that may affect human health. In the interest of one’s health, comfort and social well-being, it is the County’s goal to help control those factors in the physical environment which exercise or may exercise a harmful effect on one’s physical development, health and survival.
Inspections
Morrison County is delegated by the Minnesota Department Health to administer the Environmental Health program. The program licenses and inspects:
- Food, beverage and lodging establishments
- Mobile home parks
- Pools
- Recreational camps
- Youth camps
Inspections are made for compliance with state and local requirements.
